謝霆鋒於主持嘅節目《鋒味》中，要求素食女王Daphne Cheng煮肉，引來掀然大波，由於Daphne回覆網友留言時表示，節目團隊曾答允會尊重其原則亦不需要煮肉，節目組有出爾反爾之嫌。有傳媒搵嚟節目評審之一霍汶希回應，Mani提供兩段片，並指設下煮肉呢個題目，事前得到Daphne同意，仲話：「佢識聽國語架﹗」不過Daphne越洋接受香港01訪問時就完全唔認同Mani嘅講法：「No it's not true. I didn't understand it correctly. 」

本季《鋒味》其中一個環節，要招募全球廚藝達人組成戰隊，跟隨謝霆鋒同全球大廚進行廚藝較量。節目中有3位評審，謝霆鋒、Mani及著名廚師江振誠，負責試食並決定60位廚師中，其中8位進入戰隊。Daphne首次登場時同另一位擅長煮肉嘅廚師高超，一肉一素作品令3位評審印象深刻，當時江振誠有提過要求下一回合，兩個人交換題材下廚作賽，而Mani向傳媒公開嘅片段，正正係第一集未曝光部分。當時Mani問Daphne：「你能做肉嗎？」Daphne停頓咗一下然後答：「我不知道。」到底呢句不知道，係代表唔知道能否做肉，還是不知道Mani講嘅國語係咩意思？

Daphne睇過Mani嘅回應後，接受香港01訪問，否認自己識聽國語：「這不是事實，當時我錯誤理解了他們的要求。(No it's not true. I didn't understand it correctly. )」Daphne指錄影後得知評審真正要求，佢同自己團隊亦有即時表明立場：「我誤解了評審的說話，不知道他們要求我下一回合煮肉，事情發生後，我的團隊跟我解釋評審的要求，我們有即時向監製表示無論發生任何事，我都不會煮肉。經過一輪溝通後，節目組告訴我們，說我不用做肉。所以當他們提出不煮肉則代表棄賽時，我感到相當震驚，我本來以為他們只是因節目效果而照樣問我能否煮肉，最終會讓我以素食作賽。」Daphne同時指節目組將佢喺節目中，以及退出後嘅訪問好大部分說話剪走，因此大家未必完全明白佢嘅堅定立場。
